About Me

I am a PhD student in the Computer Science department at the University of Texas at Austin, working at the Autonomous Mobile Robotics Lab (AMRL) and fortunate to be advised by Dr. Joydeep Biswas. My research focuses on exploring neuro-symbolic methods for open-vocabulary navigation for mobile robots. I am also a part of the Learning Directed Operating System (LDOS) expeditions project, where I work on developing more informed scheduling systems to enhance robot performance. Previously, I was also a part of the Growing Convergence Research (GCR) project on Community-Embedded Robotics, where we explored technical interventions and visual-audio cues to seamlessly integrate autonomous robots into our communities.

I completed my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics at IIT Delhi (2018-22), where I mostly worked on kinematic design and synthesis of robotic manipulators.

Beyond research: I love exploring nature through hiking , long evening walks/runs , and have become a passionate football enthusiast. Go Bills!
